About Death

We live in the flesh in this world. However, our physical life is finite. No matter how healthy a person is, he or she can live up to around one hundred and twenty years. Therefore, we all have to face death at a certain point of each one's life.

Some people think that death will bring everything to end. However, we are made of flesh and spirit; our physical death is not the end; our spirit continues to exist after our physical death.

The Bible plainly reads that heaven and hell exist. Heaven is a wonderful place where there is no death, no agony, no sorrow, no crying, nor sickness; but hell is found in eternal fire.

There is only one way you can go to the wonderful place, heaven. That is by believing Jesus Christ who created heaven and earth as your own Savior. Those who believe Jesus Christ will be given eternal life, be resurrected after their death and will go to heaven.

We are all sinners without exception. A sinner does not mean a criminal under arrest. The Bible explains that sinners are the ones who fall short of the standard of God who is perfect, holy and righteous. No matter how wonderful and respected a person might be, there is nobody who is perfect and faultless. We need to acknowledge that we are sinners.

We cannot enter heaven as long as we have sins. We all need to be forgiven by God. God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to crucify Him so that He forgives the sins of mankind.

As it is written in the Bible, when we believe that Jesus died on the cross on behalf of our own sins and that He was resurrected on the third day and when we confess that, then we are forgiven our sins and will become children of God and will be given eternal life.
