Go home

2012/01/16

We’ll go home. It’s late, but children are still playing outside.

As pastor Chua looks like Sakagami Jirou, a driver looks like Nishida Toshiyuki.

Arrival at our inn

2012/01/16

We have dinner.

Yakisoba (fried noodles) is so delicious.

Durian

Durian!

John

He has a durian.

He said, “Delicious.”
Oh I can’t believe it.

Durian-2

Ryoko also try to have a durian.

She said, “Delicious.”

Impossible!

The smell of durian hangs in the air almost in this room!

I can’t get rid of the smell of durian

2012/01/16

The smell of durian is filled with this room.

I need an air freshener as soon as possible.
The taste is good, but it gives out a bad smell.

This photo shows that our team members practice a song.

The 3rd day morning

2012/01/16

Good morning!

Today’s schedule, we plan on visiting the orphanage in the morning, and having an outreach on streets at 2:00 pm, and having a mini-crusade at 4:00 pm.

Today also started with early morning prayer.

Leaving

2012/01/16

We are heading for the orphanage.

Ladies are preparing for the outreach, but what are men’s team doing?

Getting on a jeepney

2012/01/16

Our car is breakdown, in a hurry we are getting on a jeepney.

That’s my heart’s desire. I thank God!!

Again!

2012/01/16

That car that seemed to be broken came back!

Thank God!

I really wanted to take a jeepney, but I give thanks !

Inside of the car is cooler than a jeepney.

Into a mountain

2012/01/16

We’ve already come countryside.

Arrival at the orphanage

2012/01/16

We’ve climbed up the mountain. I’ve heard that around this area is called “smoky mountain” because all people in Davao collect their garbage and throw them to this place.

Around this area is a jungle‐covered place.

They are singing worship songs!

Pastor Seiko is speeching as a representative of the team!

However, all of a sudden, she was appointed. So she feels impatient.

There are four orphanages in Davao, and two of the orphanages’ children (Swawan, Mahayahai) joined in this morning.

The children in the above photo came from the smoky mountain!
