This is our first rest spot in Israel!

This place is the usual rest spot for us.
Dairy farming is popular in this area. In Israel they say a kibbutz [collective farm]! John is milking a cow, by a cow dummy.

Every time we visit this place, we will make a public telephone call. However recently most of them make a international call by a cellular phone. I feel that the time is shifting!
From this sunset, in Israel the Shabbat [the day of rest] is starting. From the afternoon, a supermarket and some facility will be closed for the shabbat. So we have to buy something what we need before starting the shabbat!

It's rain in Galilee!
It was a heavy rain around in Galilee yesterday. We will stay in there tonight! Today it is also threatening weather. We will have a charismatic meeting by the lake tonight! So please pray that the weather will be fine at the time.

According to "Like a stream in Negev." in Psalm126 in the Bible, we are running the lowlands!
Sodom
This place is called Sodom and Gomorrah where was destroyed by God as written in the Bible.
The pillar of salt
Before God's punishment to Sodom, Lot and his wife run away from the deserters. However even though God told them not to look back, his wife looked back and turned into the pillar of salt!
We can see a pointed rock on the left side. Even so, how large Lot's wife really is!
The dead sea again!
We had visited to the dead sea in Jordan, and we arrived the dead sea in Israel again!

The area around the Dead sea is suffering from flooding by raining once a year! This bus is totally safe because of large enough!

Masada was the site of the last fortress for Jews where was destroyed by the Roman Empire in the period of Herod the great in 70 AD.
We can see a little high hill. That is the site of Masada.

Probably we can see the hotel where we stayed near the dead sea in Jordan!

Qumuran !
There are some caves, and scrolls were found in one of them. Those were the Bible ! They are called the Dead Sea Scrolls, which astonished the bible scholars worldwide !

Jericho is located in the Palestinian territories, but we were able to get in there smoothly !
In this site we always go to on a tour, they say there is the tree which Zacharias climbed to listen to Jesus !

The gondola stopped on the way, which made my blood freeze, but Pastor Nagato told me that it happened all the time. I wish he would have told me that first !

We have arrived at the Ron Beach Hotel! It has been a year since we have been here. Personally, I 'm back for the first time in five years.

The second day of Galilee
Thank you for your prayers! Today we will divide into three groups. One group will join the tour of Galilee, one group will sing at a Tel Aviv church and one group will stay at the hotel.
It will take about two hours by taxi to get to the church in Tev Aviv. Please pray for everyone's protection from accidents, that there would be no delays, and that they would not encounter any problems so that they will be able to sing praises in the church.

Videographers tried to make a time-lapse video, but overcast skies made that impossible. However, we give thanks to the Lord! Tomorrow they are going to Mt. Albert, so please pray that everything goes smoothly.
John just returned from making a video. He said that it was really cold, but he was protected. We thank him for his hard work. He is preparing to go out and film again tomorrow.

However the road is closed because of a triathlon near the sea of Galilee. So please pray they can arrive on time.

We arrived the city of Nazareth [Jesus was born].
We vistied the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. The church was founded in memory of the birth of Jesus. The angel Gabriel had come in Mary, and he said to her about the birth of Jesus.

The rainbow appears just on the skies of Cana where Jesus turned water into vine, and the place where he had revealed on the first miracle.

On the way back after we were done with the blessed ministry of praise, a rainbow appeared again followed by the one yesterday. Everybody in Immanuel Church welcomed us warmly and responded very favorably to our praise singing as well. Many of them talked to us and said that they were praying for Japan.
