I can't recharge my iPhone!
I have Recharged my recharger of my iPhone but when I connected it in the airplane I found only 32% left. It should increase but it was decrease ing. I will not be able to take pictures tomorrow unless l recharge it now. So I asked a flight attendant of business class and she found me one empty seat in busuness class so that I could recharge it up to 80%. There is no socket in economy class where I seat is.
Puss in Boots
I saw a movie called "Puss in Boots" in a plane. The cat in the "Shurek" is playing the leading role. The tempo of this movie is very good and it is very enjoyable. I learn from credit line that the director of this movie is Andrew Adamson who directed "Shurek" and "The Chronicles of Narnia". That makes sense!！

They treated me Sushi in Hollywood!
Pastor Ken of Tokamusa church who attended Hakuba summer camp last year (first one of left), a president of big company and some more invited me to dinner at Sushi restaurant in Hollywood and we had reunion.

I talked about making a moie of 26 Martyrs in Japan at the sushi restaurant.
I told everyone that I have come to L.A. for movie business and talked about 26 Martyrs in Japan, and I told them we have plan to make an animation movie of them from Hollywood.
Everyone got used to eat sushi more than me who is Japanese.

As I was driving a car I lost myself for a moment.
In the evening, as soon as I check in at my hotel in Glendale I started for the restaurant in Hollywood (I thought it was Korean food but actually it was sushi). On the way I lost my way, and at the crossing I was not sure if I could turn left or not. It was really scary, but due to your prayer I could arrive there on time.

In Glendale I saw a movie called "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" which is nominated in film festival. Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock are playing together as a married couple. Thomas Horn is giving a impassioned performance playing a 9 years old boy who lost his father by September 11 attacks. I felt the presence of the Lord watching the scene Christian people pray for the boy putting their hands on him. I shed tears when Tom Hanks calls up Sandra Bullock from the World Trade Center and tells her "I absolutely love you!" after he realized he will not survive. This movie will be released on February 18th in Japan. I can recommend this movie.

Popcorn is the essential item for movie theaters in Japan also….. There was huge popcorn in Multiplex today. Smell of popcorn was all over the place. The picture is syrups for popcorn. There were three kinds of them like caramel flavor that you can help yourself.

What does service animal mean?
At the entrance of YOSHINOYA there was a sign says "service animals are welcome but pets are not permitted in this restaurant." What does service animal mean? I asked other customer and he told me it means animals serve people with disabilities, like a guide dogs for blind people.
A movie to hire a babay-sitter before you go to theater.
In USA there are 5 reference points for seeing a movie with children. "G" means everyone can see that movie. Next one is "PG", and the next is "PG-13", and last one is "R" There is also "NC-17", it means you have to hire a baby-sitter to go and see that movie.

Congestion of freeway worked for my good.
Yesterday was my first day in L.A. in order to get used to it I did not drive regular road not freeway but I drove regular road. But this is my second day, so I am driving freeway enthusiastically today. Because it became congested I could drive freeway slowly and I had a time to check a map when I had to make connection of three freeways.

Actually I thought I gain weight a little, so I told salesclerk in the first place "give me a little bigger one for my trousers" and he said "please try it anyway" when I tried it on it was not so tight but there were still some room. Praise the Lord!
Drive with mountain intution.
Yesterday and today , I drove new way and when I didn't know which way to go I tended to trust my intuition, but I finally found out that I should look for mountain and drive seeing mountain helps me not to lose my way. There are mountains like mount-Lee that has sign of Hollywood in the north. If I can find mountain I can go anywhere anyhow.

Parson at the right is Mr. Dyton, he is formerly university professor. He also watched "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" today in L.A. We selected same movie.

The lady in the picture is Ms. Susan wells. She stopped by prayer meeting. I told her the point I could not understand very well seeing the movie called "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close". Then she told me "Ted has very good explanation for that matter." Actually, when I asked Mr. Ted Bear about that, he gave me a very good answer to persuade me. I thought producers have a very good talent for bringing up people together finding good point of each parson. Husband of Ms. Susan is also a producer of movie like "Amazing Grace" and these two producers had invited to the ceremony of Academy Awards.

Making a movie of 26 martyrs, and the rainbow!
2/11 after the meeting of movie guide, we get together at 15:15 for sunset cruise, But the bus did not come after one hour. Finally I got the bus and I talked with the man who sat next to me. When I told him about 26 martyrs in japan, he was very interested in it and to my surprise he mentioned the name of Paul Miki. He is from Mid-Atlantic catholic and he said excitedly his brother is a priest and his brother knows about 26 martyrs more than himself. He was glad when I told him that we had a meeting in Nishizaka. When I got off the bus after one hour dive talking about 26 martyrs in japan, there was a rainbow in the sky. Of course it was not raining. I feel something will happen. Lord gave me cooperator, who understands very well.

In fact I was hesitant about going for sunset cruise. Brother Steve called me and said he would come to my hotel at 15:30. The appointed time of sunset cruise was 15:15. What shall I do? Finally I told Brother Steve that I would like to meet him tomorrow afternoon at West Engels church not today. I turned on TV when I get my hotel, news said Whitney Houston died today. She had lived 1963~2012. I am sorry. She was in a movie like "The Bodyguard" "The preacher's wife" and also in "The prince of Egypt" she sang with beautiful voice.
I was impressed with his hospitality.
I got phone call from Mr. J whom I met three days ago. He asked me if everything was alright and said to call him if I need any help. I was impressed with his hospitality.
Short time special training course of speaking English.
I met Mr. Bill Chimiak who is Catholic, and I met MS. Jean Robertson who came from Australia so that I had to speak English all day. It was like a short time special training course of speaking English for me.

On Sunday I attended Sunday service of TLCCC L.A, church. After the service we had lunch time and there were various food like curry, sandwich, salad and dessert that everyone brought as potluck. I enjoyed them.

In LAchurch there is one who surf and wind surf. He said he saw Ms. Bethany Hamilton the model of the movie Soul Surfer on the beach of L.A. "It is impossible to surf with one arm! " She even had won a victory in a competition.

An actor standing on the red carpet. Accuracy he is Shouhei my assistant at the award ceremony this time. He wore tuxedo for the first time and it becomes him. He gave the tuxedo back to the shop on Sunday next day of the award ceremony. He lookrd sorry when he heard he could keep it till monday with same place. He believed Jesus Christ when I Attended Sunday service of L.A. church next day of the award ceremony last April so it has been almost one year. I am receiving his assistance this year.

at lunch time one man announced him self to be a member of lady gospel group of L.A. church named "Girls". I got excited.
I could finally met him.
I usually I meet Brother Steve who is a leading figure of black gospel music world on first day of my visit, but this time because of schedule I finally meet him on fifth day. We have fellowship for 6 yeats.
Were is our meeting place?
I met Brother Steve at West Angels Church of 50000members. He did not see Mr. Stevie Wonder who is a member of the church today at service. I talked with his wife Kai few yeats a go. I build my hope for next time!
When will I see him again?
Brother Steve and his friends will take part in our retreat called "Thanksgiving and Praise and Revival Camp" at 7:00 pm on Thursday 29, March in LA. They plan on giving their comments to each Gospel group's performance. I am looking forward to meeting him again!

On 12th, from around 7 o'clock in the night for two hours, Mr. James a husband of Ms. Han the representative of LIGHT OF THE WORLD INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY who lives in L.A. invited us for dinner for the first time. His second daughter Zion, Pastor Faith Sasaki and Shoko are also in this picture. I took it in a restaurant at Wisher Street. Mr. James has a gift of boldness to act boldly whatever he decided to do. He went to talk to Pastor David Yonggi Cho without any introduction.

I lost my way in a big city L.A.
Last evening we decided to go to the restaurant Mr. and Mrs. Han the representative of LWIM was invited us by two cars from Larchmont Village we did filming. Pastor Faith Sasaki knew the way so that she was going to drive a car and I was going to follow her with my car. Though it was already dark, her car was running with high speed so that I chased it desperately. Finally I caught her car waiting for signal, but it was not white car and it was completely different car. Then I lost my way in the middle of big city L.A. without a cellular phone. All I know was the name of the street, and it was all dark. I gave thanks to the Lord. Soon after that Migiwa sister of Shoko, who is in Tokyo send me an address of my destination to my iPhone by email. And I trusted to GPS I drove to the restaurant. Everybody was waiting outside. I was really sorry.

When the heard the name of this blog decided to be "The Hollywood team of all alone" at the first place, I did not know what to say. Because it was difficult for me to accept the ward "all alone", and I felt a little sad about it "me, all alone…!" And the Hollywood countdown blog started from a week before I go to Hollywood. I think it started from February 1st. It is decided to put at least 10 pictures a day, so I started to uploading pictures to the blog and I started to prepare for the team….And I realized that on second day from countdown blog started that though the title says "all alone" but a matter of course "I am not all alone". Of course the Lord who sends me is always with me so that I am not all alone, and my wife and children, also members of my church who are praying and helping me before the team and when I am in L.A. are with me. Thank you everyone. This Hollywood team is "it seems "all alone" but I am not all alone team" that what I leaned.

This movie making inroads into general movies
In the airplane both go to L.A. and return, the movie "Courageous" was the list of the latest movies. I met Mr. Alex Kendrick who is director, scriptwriter and leading actor for the first time. This is wonderful thing that his movie is included in the general movies, and I hope the movie we are going to make would be like that. The title of Courageous was taken from the Bible, Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous!"

The movie "Courageous" is about the role of father. So I asked Alex Kendrick "are you a father"…his answer was "I am a father of 6 children". I thought this movie based on his actual experience.

On February 14th I finished writing my report for Mikoe newspaper, and I could sent pictures also. I had to check out my hotel by 5 o'clock and I did not have much time, so I was relieved when I finished sending my report and pictures. You can read my report next week. Please read it!
The last day of L.A. NO,2
After I checked out the hotel, a car of Pastor Faith Sasaki and Ms. Shoko guide the way and I went to Griffith Park. I met Shouhei there. We have decided to meet at 6 o'clock in the morning. "it is a miracle that I could wake up so early!" said Shohei. There was a help of the Lord.
One more time, I tried to filme at a very low speed.
Yesterday I tried to film Hollywood sign but because of a fog and shortage of the time, I could have filmed for only 6-7seconds. Today the sign was not in a fog at all so I targeted something else. It is "The sunrise of L.A.". It was beautiful the sun coming up in clouds! I filmed for 30seconds and I edited to 25seconds. As we expected the time of the sunrise was 6:30 in the morning. It was a little cold even in L.A.
Lord helped me to drive safely all the way!
I was really sleepy on the way to rental car shop from Griffith Park, but the Lord helped me to drive safely. I lost my way some time but not any bump or crash at all. Last time it was like "I was driving the car on the second fist line of freeway and suddenly the car stopped, it was almost big accident!", but no such thing this time. Thank you for your prayer.

o tell you the truth, on 12th Sunday I went to West Angels Church to meet Brother Steve. Some people told me it is dangerous (especially in the night). I arrived there in 10minutes straight. But I lost my way many times on the way back to L.A. So I asked the way to the one walking there. Then he said "let me ride on the back seat". I thought "it's maybe OK" and I let him ride on my car but after that I really felt I should not. You should not distrust people but if he whipped out a knife or a pistol….I was really worried. After all, nothing happened, and it seemed he just used my car as a taxi. It was good that I could find my way…but it was wrong that I let him ride in my car. Pastor Faith said when people give a ride to stranger, often "kidnap" and demand money. Do not do as I did.
What troubles her going Japan is…
On the 12th night, I had a dinner with the family of Ms. Han the representative. I asked her if she took over "burden of mission for Japan" or not. Her answer was "yes". What troubles her going Japan is "a high exchange rate of the yen". And she said she can't stay in one hotel room with other people.

Shohei helped me in filming and other things this time, he told me he was excited helping me filming. He said he had a great experience, when we said good by at Griffith Park, he said "let's do something together again!" What I really enjoyed is interviwing people in movie business. Of course I can not interviw like a TV reporter at This moment. But the mutter I interviwed them was not just ordinary things, thinking "I am good as TV reporter "I put great deal of effort to it. I remembered when I was living in Egypt I took part of reporter for the association of Japanese people with great joy.

Most of pictures I took this time, I used iphone 4s because it is easy to upload. And I head picture quality of iphone 4s is good. When I was to send pictures to Mikoe newspaper I found email from Pastor Kitajima the president of Mikoe newspaper, telling me if I send pictures in certain way, they can use them for the front page. But I found his mail in a airplane and time I would arrive at Narita was after 15:30 and it is too late for staffs to edit. I am sorry. I think I still have some task.
"Hugo " and " The artist "
A movie called "The Artist", I have not seen it yet so I can not comment, but it seems to be a movie about the age movies ware changeing in to talky from silent. On the other hand in the movie "Hugo " you can see how people had been absorbed in to movies …you will reconfirm that movies have such a fascination seeing this movie. In this way I think these two movies are similar and people in movie business would give cheers to these movies.

What! My seat for return flight
Mr. O of travel agency always books an aisle seat for me. But for the return flight, my seat was 36B. If it is in business class this number must be of aisle seat…as I expected it was middle in three window seats. I give thanks to the Lord! On the contrary, aisle seat 36C was vacant till the end, so I took aisle seat. The airplane was almost full, so it was miraculous. The key is thanks giving. It made me even more joyful.
My journey musti go on.
It takes me 3-4hours to get home from Narita. I will attend the camp in Hakuba Nagano from tomorrow, so I can stay home only about 10 hours but home sweet home. As I just came back from L.A. I worry about coldness of Nagano, but I give thanks to the Lord.

I will be thankful if you understand reading this "the Hollywood team of all alone" blog that actually I was not all alone but I had been supported by the Lord and many people's help I could go on. On February 6th at Nishizaka of Nagasaki, I was given a burden to tell many people about 26mmartyrs , stronger than ever. Two days later I started forL.A. and I was given a chance to speak about 26martyrs from the beginning. Not only that Lord led me to speak about 26martyrs everywhere I go. That neve happened to me before. It was amazing a rainbow appeared right after I talked with Catholic man. I felt the Lord had been leading me from Nishizaka to Hollywood according to his plan. I want to tell about 26martyrs, about their faith and about the Lord they were believed in to more and more people…so please pray for making "26martyrs movie" in Hollywood!。

I arrived at Narita airport. It was 11& half hours fright. I could a little sleep the first half time. Thank you for your prayer. After all, I felt the Lord had been leading me from Nishizaka to Hollywood according to his plan.

On February 16th Thursday, I am going to report about Hollywood team in opening service of Hakuba camp which will take place in Hakubamura of Nagano prefecture in Japan. I am on the way to Hakuba now. The pictureis Lake Biwa. The lake is frozen.

Within 24hours from I returned to Narita!
Last evening on 15th I came back from Hollywood. And Within 24hours I could give a hot report and testimony about Hollywood team, in front of everybody who have been praying for me. I am tfor hankful to the Lord giving me a this chance! I am a little hot with relief.
Writing a blog helped me in this way.
Just 30minutes before I report I was told to do it in 15minutes showing pictures. With help of movie team I could report useing 12pictures and I am thankful. I could do it because I took many pictures for the blog.
It is like a presentation.
I give thanks to the Lord for giving me 15minutes to report about Hollywood team with pictures.
It was really miraculous.
When I got off the bus after I talked with Catholic gentleman about 26 martyrs, there was a rainbow in of my eyes, though it was not raining at all .It was really miraculous to me. I think the Lord is telling me somethin through it.
More response than expected.
To my joyful surprise, when I asked anyone in the audience saw the "Hollywood team of all alone" to raise hand, there were more people raised hand than I expected. e audience To my surprise, there were more people than I expected. I am really delightful.
Two times, three times …
The number accessed this blog from January 27th to February 2nd was 607, from February 3rd to 9th was 1231 and from February 10th to 16th which announced yesterday was 2063.
