What is religion?
In any age people seek something they can believe in.
They have created a lot of "religions" by making visible things the object of worship as god such as nature, the sun, the moon, stones, trees, the sea, rivers, animals and human beings.
However, "the religions" that human beings have made could not become something people can believe in and truly rely on after all, but just have left people powerless and empty in turn.
By the way, Christianity is totally different from those religions.
It is because God of Christianity (God who is revealed in the Bible) is the only God, the Creator who can provide salvation.
When you believe in this God, you will be saved, will become a child of God, and will be able to have fellowship with the living God.
He can be trusted in any time and will not disappoint us; He is the only God we can truly rely on. (See references No. 1 – No.5 below)
(1) God of the Bible is the Creator who made heaven and earth and all creatures. "the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and all things that are in them" (Acts 14:15:)
(2) God of the Bible is "the living and true God." (I Thessalonians 1:9 ) "You shall have no other gods before me." (Exodus 20:3-Moses' Ten Commandments)
(3) He is the God of salvation. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
(4) He is the God we can truly rely on. "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." (Romans 10:11)
(5) When we believe in Him, we will become a child of God and will have living fellowship with Him. "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God " (John1:12)
