　Praise the Lord ! from the Rocky Mountains

 

“Praise the Lord ! from the Rocky Mountains” is a popular series in monthly publication “The Appearance of a Rainbow in the Clouds” (kumonoaidaniaruniji Publishing Co.Ltd). This content is reprinted just as the word containing thanksgiving testimony of pastor Kamidate.

 

There is a place called 16 th street moll at central Denver. Even it calls mall, there is no shopping center of big building. It is a street that it is forbidden to ride general car onto a street of 1.6 km from a place where is close to assembly hall to Union station, and no charge for bus runs frequently, and people can walk free. There is open-air cafe like European style, and Hamburger shop like surely America, and souvenir shop and shopping center. Here is very beautiful street.

 

On this 16 th street moll, we start street live of J-gospel from November. At every Sunday 3 PM, we have small key board and ride on no charge bus from parking. At first, we didn’t know if we need permission or not. So, we just try to go to the place with faithful step. Because there were patrol car in front of us on the point, we ask him if wee need permission for street live or not. Then, he said that “You don’t need permission. Denver city welcomes such street live.” And then, he said that “I want to listen. Do here.” We are encouraged by this words, and start our first street live on 16 th street moll. Song was not so good. But five to six walkers stop and listen to our song. They may be interested in our language whether which language we use. There was also those who sit in front of us and keep listening intently with closing eyes. After we finish street live about 30 minutes, those who listen in front of us told me that “ Thank you songs like angel.” Praise the Lord !

 

By the way, we held gospel concert for Angelia who are professional gospel singer and sing my husband’s song. The concert livened up very much with almost filled seat because of getting a lot of church’s cooperation. This concert serves filming for live video. I asked for filming to Colorado Film School students and audio to professional of sound, who has 20 years carrier to work at television station. It costs $600 for music machine parts rentals, and so on.

 

The concert was finished safely, and we were relived. In the situation, the accident was happened. When we listened to the concert CD received from Mr.A of audio professional, it was just a word “test, one, two” at the first place in CD. It has no record after that which is main concert. At the first and second day, Mr.A said to us “It takes nice sound. Don’t worry.” But... It has no sound. In my head, $600 which has wind fluttered away. My husband looks really disappointed. But in such a situation, I could change my mind to act “thanksgiving to God and worship God” that we are learning in our church. If we are difficult to have the feeling,, we anyway start to thanksgiving to God. “We give thanksgiving to God that it has no sound, even Mr.A, sound professional said alright so strongly.”. “We give thanksgiving to God that it cost $600 for music machine parts rentals.”. “We give thanksgiving to God that we can’t say any complaint to anybody because all people work free.”. “We give thanksgiving to God that it has no record for songs of great concert.”. The thanksgiving to God continued for a while.
