During the reign of King Muteka, pest spread all over the kingdom of Buganda.
For the national interest, once the king decided to be converted to Catholicism, but he was affected by Arab people, he force to his nation to pray to Allah for the plague to be leave the country.
At that time, Father Lourdel of “White Fathers mission” of France went to see the king and he said “Let an Arab person hold a Koran, and I shall hold the Bible. So please set fire to both, and then the god who will rescue from the fire is true God”
The king was surprised and struck with awe and respect he stopped forcing people to worship Allah.

I listen to the Bible read in English by Bible is. And I am preparing for service of interpreting! Because of the time of transfer my iPhone read me all chapters of Acts. (^O^)/

Dry cell batteries!

I got dry cell batteries D 6×7people = 42 at a low price!
Saying a plastic bag would tear off by weight, shop keeper made it double. …Actually they are heavy (^◇^;) I think I will bring them back as I training my muscles!
I will write about use of those dry cell batteries later…!

President Idi Amin

President Idi Amin

In the year of 1925, he was born in Islam family of the Kakuwa ethnic group of north-west end of Uganda. He graduated Islam school in Bombo, and he was joined British colonial army. In 1961 he was promoted to Lieutenant. After the independent of Uganda, he helped President Milton Obote, and he became the Chief of the General Staff of the army. While President Milton Obote was traveling abroad in 1971 he was inaugurated as President by a coup d’ tat. He banished 50000Asian people of foreign nationality from the country saying “This is a divine message”. That had done a great deal of economical damage to the country as a result. About 300000 to 400000 people of the nation were massacred by his dictatorship. In 1979 he lost his position by the attack of anti‐Establishment groups. In 2003 he died in Saudi Arabia where he went as a refugee.

It’s about 3700km from Lake Victoria to Khartoum.

is divided among three countries of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania,
a large lake with a surface area of 68,800 square kilometres.
It is the world’s third largest lake by surface area, and its area is double the size of Kyushu
and one hundred times the size of Lake Biwa.
It was named after Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom when it was discovered.
