History of Jerusalem

In a briefly outline, “Jerusalem” appeared at first time in the Old Testament.

From Genesis 14:18,
“The Meichizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High.”

The word of “Salem” means the source of the word of “Jerusalem”.

This is the photo of the Golden dome.

Zechariah 14:16-17

“And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.”

To worship the Lord in Jerusalem is the special meaning and the special spiritual blessing.

In Israel, Yom Kippur (High holiday) on Sept. 26th is over, and a few days latter, the festival of Sukkot will begin.

A 15-year-old Jewish child told me that they have meals in Scar even in Japan.
