Mr. Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv, visited Japan on September this year.

Many of Nobel Prize laureates are Jewish.
It’s Dr. Ada E. Yonath, that was awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
She is a woman and the result of her study was acknowledged.
She made a visit to Tokyo this January.
Kashrut ( Kasher) Mark

Many of Jewish keep Koshrut following the Old Testament. It is said that food is strictly regulated including meat and anything isn’t permitted unless it isn’t in accordance with its criterion.
It’s the mark of Koshrut (= KSA) on the tin of mints candy in the States that is shown on the right below of the photo below. The tin is made in China.

Dr. Daniel Shechtman, Israel Institute of Technology, was awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He made a visit to Japan this March.

The prayer mission, one of department of the church had the meeting in Shibukawa from Oct. 3 to 5.
